Artificial Grass and Bugs!

A clever Washington state artificial grass company has figured out what to do with a few remnants of spare turf growing roots around their shop – plant it on a car!

“Out to have some fun”, they covered the car and drive it around town; to shows and events. They can’t help but create a bit of a “buzz” about their business and raise public awareness of the grass surfaces and their value to residential and commercial properties. And, it’s cute; in that Chia-Grass pet, sort of way; you can’t help turn your head and stare as it flies by you!

Using artificial grass surfaces as lawns will not only provide you a beautiful, lush area for play, looks or entertainment year round, the use of artificial turf materials will SUBSTANTIALLY decrease your property’s carbon-footprint.

With no oil or gas spills and emissions from lawn tools, no need for fertilizers, pesticides or weed-control agents, and a dramatic decrease in the need to water the area (which also will dramatically decrease the pollution to local ground water), using artificial grass surface solutions is a great GREEN Construction Plan!

A study completed in 2003 in the Seattle Washington area stated frightening results – over 93% of our pre-school to kindergarten age children show marked amounts of pesticides in their urine. Reducing our children’s exposure to harmful chemicals, both at school and at home, will reduce their risks of destructive agents creating future problems for their health and well being.
