Back in December, 2007, rising concerns about high lead content in toys and other products, imported into America from abroad, prompted the Mt. Sinai Children’s Environmental Health Center to provide the following presentation on the dangers of un-encapsulated forms of lead found in dyes, pigments for fabric and carpeting, paints and plastics:
